Hello there, 

This blog is an attempt to think through current issues in politics, society and sports using facts to form my opinion(s) and my conclusion(s). The most important part here is your own critical thinking, at any stage throughout my writing, you may agree or disagree with my reasoning or conclusions based on the facts.

I believe it should go without saying, but I will due to our current climate of ‘mob takedowns’. I do not in any regard promote or accept racial, bigoted or sexist behavior or rhetoric. I do support without any question free speech. My belief in free speech is best encapsulated by Voltaire “I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.”

With this in mind I will endeavour to present topics in my own way to encourage civil discourse which I believe is lacking in this day and age. I believe all sides of the political spectrum are too combative and as a result limit their range of thinking due to the seemingly ‘do or die’ stakes that has arisen in the last decade.

If you are looking for an exclusively left wing or conservative or right wing or alt-right or progressive or libertarian blog, do not bother with mine. I am certainly going to bounce around everywhere as I think it is logically unfeasible and intellectually dishonest to think about all issues in the aforementioned constraints. Admittedly, I may find out throughout the course of this exercise I actually do fit exclusively in one of those categories; I doubt it but we’ll see.

Also nobody except Obi-Wan has the high ground…
